Week 2, Day 6 of CrononaCrazy Day Drills

Well I have been posting all the updates on Facebook for the last week, but think people (besides my family) could not really care less on what we are doing on the daily.  So I've decided that if I move it over to my blog that has sat dormant for the last two years, I can archive it all and just put a link of Facebook for anyone who wants to tag along for the ride.

So as you see here, we are nailing the breakfast thing.  Cupcake with whip cream and strawberries.  She made it herself, so I say, heck yeah. Who am I to judge. I prefer ice cream, but this looks good too.

Working online
Yep, we do chores too!

There is so very little time to do our own thing with this schedule, but sometimes as I'm helping one, the other has some downtime.  During this time I made Olivia make her bed and put away her clothes that have been sitting on her dresser for over a week. Ugh.  I know, she tells me I'm the worst.

working on worksheets
My mom sent me some worksheets that you complete and then color in the answer. Isaac chose to do the 3 digit addition.  He's working on other things on his online schooling, but he did this project with NO whining, which was a win.

Working on their Art
Next was our Art project. I see some others had posted this on FB.  Olivia got colored moldable clay from Santa, so this was the perfect time to bust it out. We got out our cookie cutters and made eggs and carrots for our little Easter tree on our dinning room table.  They look adorable and the kiddos liked doing it.  It also didn't make a mess, nor take too long.  #win

What she did during 'free time'

During "free time" I let them doing anything they want, as long as it is quiet. Since I need to be online teaching my college peeps, I need them to go do something quietly while I switch gears to teach the "big kids" at ONU. Isaac and Olivia only interrupted once today, which is fine, but nonetheless annoying.  I only need 50 minutes people. 5-0 minutes of no questions or complaining about your sibling.  During today's session Olivia said she was going make a picture of a fisherman.  Someone is needing summer as much as I do!

At the end of today, we prepared to take our dance pictures (Olivia is in 6 different comp teams this year and momma isn't buying those pictures when I know I have a studio at home!). While we prepped and took pictures, Isaac worked on his letter writing skills. First he wrote his letter on a piece of paper.  I heard him using his iPad to ask Siri how to spell things.  I LOVE THAT. Once I checked it, I let him pick out a postcard to write it on. He picked Toy Story Woody and Bullseye and sent it off to his BFF.

Now Olivia's pictures scheduled for that 45 minutes...what a joke.  Three hours later, LOL, we finished up.  Here are three I took on my phone to post on here. The rest are on my DSLR and won't be up for at least a week.  I have too many other pressing things that MUST be completed instead of playing with the camera.

We try to hit everything on the schedule everyday, but sometimes it doesn't work out like planned.  Today there was no science.  And I'm totally pumped for the science lesson that my dead friend Stacey sent to me. There is always tomorrow right?

We ended the evening with setting up the Teepee and putting in a mattress and set up camp in the living room. They're so excited to 'camp out' tonight and probably for the next few days until the novelty wears off.
